²³ Lamech said to his wives,

^25 (C)Adam ^[a]had relations with his wife again; and she gave birth to a son, and named him ^[b]Seth, for, she said, “God ^[c]has appointed me another ^[d]child in place of Abel, ^(D)because Cain killed him.”
